  • Hello. I’m reaching out as a despondent NYC voter facing a “Trump Presidency”. I’m so outraged the election went the way it did, and eager to find a place to focus my energy into a positive outlet for change, support, empowerment and rights for all currently at risk under this impending administration. I’m at a loss as to “where and how” and therefore reaching out to You folks for information about what’s going on and where help is needed. The question “What do we do now?” is running around my brain, I can’t sit idly by and watch the potential decimation of so many rights and liberties long fought for already. Please advise.

    Thank you,

    Monica Russell

HI, I’m concerned about what’s facing us come 1/20. Dies Sen Sanders have any organization in NYC in which I could get involved? Please let me know. Thanks.

  • Hi! I’m with Monica (above). Just got back from DC march and want to work for Bernie in NYC. I live in Harlem. Are there any organizers up here still that want to form a Bernie-minded group to keep the momentum going? Thanks!

    • Hello! Glad you were able to participate in the march and that you want to keep the momentum going! Here are two progressive groups that are around/near Harlem that you could take a look at –

      1) Bronx Progressives – – According to this page, their next meeting is Sunday, January 29th at 3pm.

      2) Uptown Progressive Action (Upper Manhattan area) – – If you click on “Get Involved” you can sign up for their mailing list which looks like will have information about their regular meetings, which according to the website are currently the 2nd Wednesdays of every month.

      Cheers! :)
